The Lebanon-Laclede County Route 66 Festival, presented by Heritage Bank of the Ozarks, has been endorsed by “Missouri 2021” as an official Missouri Bicentennial event, the Route 66 Festival Committee learned at Wednesday's meeting.

Route 66 Society Vice President Mike Boggs, who applied for the designation, was notified of the endorsement by Mary “Morgan” Dennehy, Bicentennial projects coordinator for the Center for Missouri Studies at The State Historical Society of Missouri.

The festival will be listed on the Missouri Bicentennial website with the festival logo, the Route 66 Society logo and this profile:

“Join us June 18-19 for Lebanon Route 66 Festival (Presented By Heritage Bank). The festival theme this year is "200 years of Missouri, 95 years of Route 66."  Friday Night there will be a downtown cruise in with food trucks and live music.  Saturday there will be a classic car parade thru town, vendors, food trucks, live music, cornhole, bounce houses, car show, giveaways, and more. Saturday night - Munger Moss 75th anniversary celebration, hog roast, live music, bounce houses.”
